We combine a nourishing blend of olive oil, coconut oil, lard, and castor oil with IPA beer to create a rich, creamy lather. Kaolin clay provides a smooth, silky feel, while mica adds a touch of natural-looking color. Finished with fragrance oil, each bar delivers a satisfying shower experience with a handcrafted Michigan twist.

Beer has long been used in traditional soapmaking because the sugars and proteins naturally present in beer can contribute to a rich, luxurious lather. The hops and grain-derived ingredients also contain naturally occurring compounds that make beer an interesting addition to handmade soap.
